Coinjock homeowners don't need another sales pitch about their roof — they need someone who shows up, explains what's actually wrong, and fixes it right the first time.
Roof Repair Smedway grew out of Coinjock, NC job sites, not a corporate rollout plan — that's still how we staff every Roof Leak Repair crew we send to Coinjock.
Every lead technician we send to a Coinjock property carries current Coinjock, NC licensing and full insurance, and we'll produce that paperwork before you ask twice.
We've replaced enough botched patch jobs from other companies to know exactly what corner-cutting looks like a year later — drywall stains, soft decking, mold nobody can see yet.
Documentation on request, no exceptions.
Storms don't wait for office hours, so our on-call line doesn't either.
Every price is itemized, not eyeballed over the phone.
Crews dispatched from within Coinjock, NC, not another region entirely.
Most emergency calls we get trace back to a smaller sign that went unnoticed for weeks or months.
None of the six signs below require an emergency call on their own, but each one is worth a scheduled inspection before it turns into something bigger.
Heavy granule loss usually means the shingles are nearing the end of their service life.
Once a shingle starts warping, its seal against wind-driven rain is already compromised.
A gap that lets light through will let rain through eventually.
Stains grow slowly, which is exactly why they get ignored until they spread.
An unexplained bill increase is worth checking against your roof's condition.
Exposed underlayment is only a temporary barrier — it's not built to handle sustained exposure.
Not every call needs the same fix, so we scope each Coinjock job individually instead of running everything through one generic quote.
Read through the categories and you'll usually recognize your own roof problem in one of them — that's intentional, since we scope calls the same way we've organized this list.
Active leaks get priority dispatch — a temporary cover first, a proper repair as soon as the crew can get materials on-site.
From a few cracked shingles to a complete tear-off, residential jobs get scoped against manufacturer spec, not a rough guess.
Flat roofs get scheduled inspections in addition to repair calls, catching ponding-water problems early.
Material selection is part of the replacement conversation, matched to your climate exposure and budget.
Scheduled maintenance catches loose flashing and clogged valleys before the next storm turns them urgent.
If your roof has an architectural quirk, we scope it personally rather than forcing a standard fix.
Four steps, no surprises in between — here's exactly what happens after you pick up the phone.
After-hours calls still reach a live line for anything time-sensitive.
You get a plain-language explanation, not just a number.
Every figure is documented in writing — nothing verbal, nothing vague.
A final walkthrough confirms everything matches the agreed scope.
If you've been burned by a roofing company before, these are the specific things we do differently, not just a promise that we're "better."
Being local means we're rarely the crew still driving in from somewhere else.
Every estimate is itemized so you know exactly what you're paying for.
Our installers follow manufacturer spec on every underlayment overlap and fastener pattern, not general guesswork.
We'd rather send a crew back for a small fix than leave a homeowner unsure.
We've worked with enough local carriers to know what actually speeds up claim approval.
Some roofs need a full reroof; plenty just need one honest repair.
A verbal promise means nothing when you actually need it, so ours is documented and handed over at project close.
We also guarantee the number on your estimate — barring a scope change you approve first, that's the number on your invoice.
We'd rather explain a guarantee in plain language upfront than have a homeowner discover the fine print later.
We stage crews across Coinjock, NC so a storm hitting one part of the region doesn't leave the rest of Coinjock waiting.
Routes are planned around Coinjock's actual streets and access points, not a generic radius drawn on a map, which is part of why our arrival windows tend to hold up.
Homeowners just outside Coinjock proper sometimes assume they're too far for a standard visit, but our dispatch radius usually reaches further than people expect.
